This crimp tool is recommended for the crimping of MC4™ (PV-BP4/8, PV-SP4/8, PV-BP4/5, PV-SP4/5), closed barrel crimp contacts (O-Crimp). The excellent handling, easy exchange of the crimping insert bits, and the possibility of adding a positioning aid are facts in favor of these crimping pliers.

In comparison to other manufacturers, this Rennsteig crimp tool offers a separate crimp section for each wire size. This ensures the best possible crimp results as well as lower hand forces compared to other available tools for this application. We have not made any quality compromises by combining different wire sizes in one crimp section. That’s the only way to provide a perfect compression ratio, high pull-out forces as well as lowest electrical resistance.
